Anaesthesia and monitoring
Every patient receives a pre-anaesthetic assessment, bloodwork and an anaesthetic protocol tailored to age, breed and condition. During surgery we monitor ECG, blood pressure, capnography, oxygen saturation and temperature continuously, with a dedicated team member responsible for anaesthesia.
Pain management is multimodal and starts before the first incision.
Second surgical opinions
If surgery has been recommended for your pet and you would like the case reviewed, send us the clinical history, imaging and laboratory results. We will give you our surgical assessment, including whether a non-surgical option should be considered first.

Do you operate on exotic pets?
Yes. Rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, small rodents, birds and reptiles are treated by our exotic animal team with species-specific anaesthesia and equipment.
Is emergency surgery available at night?
Yes. Our hospital operates 24 hours a day, every day of the year, including surgical emergencies.
Will my pet stay in hospital after surgery?
Most surgical patients are hospitalised at least overnight so that pain control and recovery are supervised by veterinary staff.
