Reports and second opinions
Studies are interpreted by our own veterinarians and reported the same day in most cases. We also review imaging performed elsewhere when owners or colleagues ask for a second opinion, including cases sent from abroad before travelling.
Imaging before surgery
Surgical planning relies on good imaging: plateau angle measurement before TPLO, localisation of ureteral obstruction before a S.U.B. procedure, and thoracic screening in oncologic and older patients.
Frequently asked questions
Does my pet need sedation for imaging?
Many studies are performed without sedation. Positioning for orthopedic radiographs or for uncooperative patients may require light sedation, which is always discussed with you first.
Can you review images taken by another clinic?
Yes, provided the files are of diagnostic quality. Send them with the clinical history and we will tell you whether further views are needed.
How quickly do we get results?
In most cases the same day, and immediately in emergencies.
