Our surgical team
Orthopedic cases are led by Dr. Pedro Vicente Uceda, who graduated from Universidad Complutense de Madrid in 1998 and has more than 25 years of clinical experience in orthopedics and soft tissue surgery, with an international career.
He works with our full surgical and anaesthesia team, so complex cases are planned jointly and supported by in-house imaging, laboratory and intensive care.

International orthopedic cases
We regularly review orthopedic cases sent from abroad. Send your pet's radiographs and clinical reports and our surgeons will tell you whether surgery is indicated, which technique they would recommend and what the treatment would involve in Madrid.
Not every patient is a candidate for surgery or for travel. That assessment is made case by case by the veterinary team.

Can you review radiographs taken by my own veterinarian?
Yes, provided the images are of diagnostic quality. If additional views or measurements are needed, we will tell you exactly what to request.
Do you treat cats as well as dogs?
Yes. We perform orthopedic surgery in cats, including fracture repair and patellar luxation, with species-specific anaesthesia protocols.
Is hospitalisation included after orthopedic surgery?
Yes. Orthopedic patients stay in our hospitalisation unit with veterinary staff present 24 hours a day for as long as the case requires.
