How it works
1. Send us your pet's medical file
Email or WhatsApp the X-rays, CT scans, blood work and reports from your local vet, together with your pet's age, weight and breed. There is no charge for this first review.
2. Video consultation and fixed written quote
Our surgical team reviews the case and, if surgery is viable, sends you a fixed, all-inclusive written quote before you book any flight. Video consultation: €35, deducted from the surgery if you travel.
3. Travel to Madrid (5 to 7 days)
Day 1: in-person examination and pre-operative tests. Day 2: surgery and monitored 24 h hospitalisation. Days 3-5: recheck, medication, rehabilitation guidance and discharge report in English.
4. Fly home with full documentation
We issue the official health and fitness-to-fly documentation, including CEXGAN export certificates and EU pet passports, and send your local vet a complete surgical report.

Frequently asked questions
Why is veterinary surgery so much cheaper in Spain?
Quality is not the difference: staffing costs, malpractice insurance, facility rents and implant pricing in Spain are a fraction of those in the United States. We use the same implants, anaesthesia protocols and monitoring standards as leading US referral hospitals.
Do I have to travel before knowing if surgery is possible?
No. We review your pet's imaging and reports remotely and give you a written, fixed quote and a surgical plan before you book anything.
How long do we need to stay in Madrid?
Five to seven days for most orthopaedic procedures. Endoscopy cases are usually shorter, three to four days. We schedule the surgery within 24-48 hours of your arrival.
Is my dog fit to fly after surgery?
In most cases yes, and we issue the fitness-to-fly certificate ourselves. For large dogs travelling in the hold we normally recommend flying home 5 to 7 days after surgery, once the incision has been checked.
Do you speak English?
Yes. Your case coordinator, the surgeon and all discharge reports are in English. We also work in Spanish and French.
What is included in the quote?
Pre-operative tests, anaesthesia, the surgical procedure, implants, hospitalisation, pain management, medication to go home and the post-operative rechecks during your stay.
